NEETs & Hikikomori
Well I just read this on Sankaku again, and was really interested about this certain topic:
Aso Vows to Drag NEETs & Hikikomori From Their Rooms
It was primarily discussing about NEETs (Not in Education, Employment or Training) and Hikikomori and how the government wants them to contribute to society. Not sure if anyone could understand this topic without further research, but it does kinda reflect how most of us like to be "confined" in our room and use the computer all day long and how getting a job can be a pain in the arse. Haha yeah, I do have to admit I'm also a slight Hikikomori after reading that topic..... =P

An Unexpected Return....
Yeah, it was only just yesterday that I thought I finally get to go on a proper holiday with my family to Penang. Well I don't know if I could keep this short or anything but I'll try my best to tell it straight to you guys...
After having a late lunch earlier today at some famous "Nasi Kandar" restaurant at Bukit Jambul, (it was about 4PM during that time) my mother got a called from one of my aunties in Johor saying that my grandmather had passed away. Not only did it took us all by surprise, but the fact that so many things were happening that day it couldn't have happened at the worst possible moment. She passed away at one of my aunty's house in Kluang, Johor at around 3PM from old age. Not sure what was the cause of death, but it was related to her weakening state after she suffered stroke a few years ago. (it could either been a heart attack or a second stroke, should probably know by tomorrow)
The thing was, it also happens to be my one of my cousins wedding that very day. (not sure what to say about this cause I don't really know my father's side of the family much or who most of my cousins are....) They already had done the "akad nikah" that morning and during that whole aftetnoon it was to be "kenduri" (meaning feast) for them. My step grandmother (it was my fathers step mother, my real grandmother died when my father was young) came to the wedding that afternoon with my grandfather and one of my aunties that drove all the way from Muar. Even at that moment she was already weak and almost collapse when she tries to sit down. In the end, they took her inside the house and let her lie on the bed. Then they called the doctor to check on her condition, but the doctor said she was already too weak to live and could very well die at any moment. It was too late to send her to a hospital and all they could do was just pray that she would stay alive. So everyone gathered around and started to read the "surah yassin" and grieve upon her. Sure enough her pulse finally faded and she had passed away.
Don't know how everyone was coping at that moment (but obviously everyone was grieving) and who was effected most by it.... (probably my grandfather, since he was closest to her) So they called the masjid and did all the procedure like how all procedures go to care for the ones who passed away. We thought that she was going to get buried the next day since it was well after the evening before the body could be taken but my grandfather insisted she would get buried today. Sure enough after the Isyak and Jenazah prayer, they took the body to Bakri and get her buried there.
Right now I'm just lost for words to describe the moment. Stunned? Confused? Exhausted? Panicked? Sad? Grief? Disappointed? None of these could even describe how I feel right now. I just went to Penang yesterday and had to come back today to get ready and go to Johor the next morning. But then again family is WAY IMPORTANT than any holiday you take and that visiting your relatives had to be your first priority, so I can't complain about that either. Anyway, I just want to say that life comes with many surprises and this is just one of them. One day your happy, the next day your struggling to live, that is just the way of life I guess. You can't blame these things for happening, but it does and we all should just accept it without any regrets or hatred towards this.......
Also, sorry not to wish everyone Christmas yesterday. Kinda slipped out of my mind. =P Also, it is kind of an irony that today also happens to coincide with the Tsunami incident that happened 4 years ago...... *sigh*

Will be away for a few days....
Yeah, just want to let everyone know that I'm going on a vacation to Penang for a few days. Don't know if the hotel I'm staying there got internet or not, so I won't be going online for a while (maybe I will go online on my handphone from time to time while I'm there, or try to catch some wifi signal with my PSP if possible) So I will see you guys online when I come back, until then this is me signing off.....
Photos of my upgrades
As promised earlier, here is what my new computer is running now:
A closer look at the motherboard and processor:
Yeah, still using AMD processor as last time, but this is the more hardcore "Athlon X2" processor... (dual processors FTW!!!!)
And here is my new 500GB Western Digital Caviar Blue internal hard drive:
Yeah, now I can fit more s*** inside my computer hahahahaha.....
Oh, and here is how that Razer Boomslang looks like in the dark:
Thought the Razer logo would illuminate like the other Razer mouse, but I guess not. =P
If anyone is interested in my PC spec, have a look here:

Yeah, not exactly a gaming PC per se, but at least it gets the job done really well. Unlike my fathers laptop that was really f***ing slow, this computer could multi task really well without the PC freezing up. Well, not yet at least..... =S So hope you enjoyed (or envy) my new computer, hahaha......
Got back my computer....
Well, after what seemed like ages ago (about September this year) my PC was dead and I was stuck using my fathers laptop for 3 month...... until today! A few weeks ago my brother-in-law decided that he would take the PC to the shop at Lawyat there to get it fixed at one of my late uncles friends shop. Well after discussing with my brother-in-law and my father about the budget for the repair and it was decided that my father would be spending less than RM1000 on the repair/upgrade. The thing was, at first I thought it was the graphics card that failed, after getting it checked it seems that the motherboard just fried itself and spoiled along with the processor. Not sure what was the main cause for the failure, but my guess was that the processor got clogged up with dusts and overheats itself and just self destructed.
I would like to continue more on this tomorrow as I want to enjoy every second of my PC again, as well as updating my iPod and stuff. More things to talked about later, as well as a few pics I snapped with my fathers camera phone. =D

This is just sick.
Found this on one of the blogs that I regularly follow. Got to say this is just inhumane. Don't ask why, just follow the story below:

A new world of music....
Having a big interest in music I do always have a knack for finding the most unique and unheard of bands which are popular elsewhere, hell some of them are not even known by the music scene and yet their music is like nothing else on the radio. The independent (indie) music scene is big out there and you'll almost always see some unknown band rise into stardom, but the true indie bands out there would not care if they become famous or not or even fade into obscurity. Their music will always leave a mark one way or another.
As I think some of you may/may not know, I was a really big indie rock/emo/screamo fan and would try to introduce bands that no one ever heard of to my friends and kinda see if they liked it or not. Well yesterday morning I was surfing around looking for some albums to download and would usually do a quick search using google blog and see what albums are available to download. I was looking for Chronic Future's first self-titled album on the internet and never found it. But then I just randomly searched for Maxeen's second album titled "Hello Echo" and I got a hit on this site. I entered the site called It-Leaked.com, but it seemed to be an invite only site and (at that time) there was no way I could get into the site. Looking for answers, I managed to stumbled upon this one site which were discussing about It-Leaked.com and tried my luck to get an invite. Sure enough there was this one person accepting request for invite and all my hope was on that one person....
He left his email there for people to contact him, and I did send him the message for an invite both straight to his email address and on that forum. But things started to take a twist and all my hope evaporated into thin air. I waited for hours for him to reply back to me, and what was worse is that I got banned from that site for "requesting" an invite. How bad can my luck be!? Looking for alternatives I did manage another way to get that album (albeit it was hell of a lot frustrating) and just accepted it as it is. While I was downloading each song one by one from this site called deezer.com using some software called freezer, I suddenly realized I got an email. When I clicked to check who was it from, I had my prayers answered. I was just, at that moment, gasp in disbelief that I managed to join that site and download the album in all its quality.......
Note: Don't bother asking me an invite from that site as I probably can't.....
Okay, fair enough. I finally get to complete my Maxeen album collection for my iPod as well as discovering many bands on that site I never ever heard of and yet are well known in that community. I gave a listen to a few of those bands and I'm hooked back into emo/screamo music. Yeah, I don't have that J-Rock bug I had a few months ago and now will looking back into these awesome and emotional songs. Of all the bands I got to know, these were the ones that I actually liked and downloaded their songs from that site:
Raein (a Italian screamo band)
Love Lost But Not Forgotten (a screamo band from St. Peters, Missouri but are no longer active)
Saetia (a New York City-based screamo band, disbanded in 1999)
House Vs. Hurricane(a a Progressive Post-Hardcore band from Melbourne)
So if anyone is interested in listening to them I do recommend you to cause their music is just totally different than what you would usually listen on the radio, and its just something about those bands that makes me want to listen to them a lot, whether its their certain style of play, the reputations they have build throughout the years or just me being a music person. Doesn't matter, at least there is now another person interested in them.......
I'm not sure if I could make a short post about each of those bands and why they are different (I only discovered them this morning) but if anyone wants me to I will try my best to describe them in my own words. =D
Oh, here are their myspace links if you want to give them a listen:

PIKOM PC Fair 2008 part II
Well yeah, can't believe this is the second time I went to the pc fair in 4 months (the last time I went there was in August, as the post in this blog shows....) got to say it felt more tiring than last time (although we did spend time there a little less) but yeah, I think this was the most wallet breaking thing I have ever done in my life (not exactly really, more on that below....)
Started out the day with meeting Najib at his house at 12pm and his mother send us to the Putra station in Kelana Jaya, where we waited for Kamal to arrive before we bought our tickets and headed towards KLCC. Then it started to drizzle when we were halfway there and when we finally got there and wanted to walk to the convention centre in started to rain heavily. Luckily I remembered the underpass which we could walk trough without getting wet, albeit it was a slightly longer route than what was the usual way and definitely had a huge crowd like it was last time. Anyhow, got to the convention centre without getting wet and went through all the halls.....
Did a few stops here and there to check out some items, and well finally stopped at the Razer booth and admire all the great looking mouse there. Was sad that the mouse that I wanted to buy wasn't available (the A4Tech X7 X-750BF gaming mouse) and there wasn't a single damn booth that sold internal hard drives (they heavily promoted their external hard drives there, but no internal hard drives for sale. WTF!?) and in the end, I got myself this:
All got to say is, I can't f***ing believe I actually bought these stuff for cheap!!!! Yeah, that is about it I guess. Will post the "unboxing" video of the mouse later as well as a layout change for this blog. =P

Attention alert!!!!
Where in the world is Najib? I'm supposed to confirm with him to go to the PIKOM PC Fail tomorrow or Sunday, but he never did went online since yesterday and his phone is off. Can anyone try to contact him in any way possible? Well other than that, I got nothing else to say lol, I'm just a very uninteresting person I guess..... hahahahaha.
Finished watching Wangan Midnight.....
Yeah, been watching the anime the whole day today (just finished watching it at 1am, after starting at 12pm earlier....) Got to say it was fun watching each episode all in one go, makes me feel happy in a way. =D Not sure if I want to do a review for the show or not, but give me some time and I'll write something later....
Tinkerchel
Do I need to say more? Found her while I was chatting with my friend about Miku Hatsune and all the other Vocaloid characters, then suddenly this came up. She does seem a little popular on Youtube though.... I really don't know what to say though, she does certainly look "kawaii" enough for pedobear to attack lol, not to mentioned how old she looks like.... =O I think her videos are cool enough to view and her cosplay seems good enough to pass from otakus to start drooling over. Well I just leave it to everyone to decide whether she looks hot or not, whether she could be a good cosplayer or whatnot, whether she could sing or not, bla bla bla, etc. etc. etc.......
You can view her many videos at her Youtube page, and get to know more about her.

What happened today....
Well, just to summarize my day I will post it in bullet form (or something like that) and explain what a tiring day I just had.....
That is pretty much for today, and I do know I could have said out some of your names here but I feel it should be better just to be anonymous. But if you think I'm better off mentioning your name in my posts, I'll gladly do so in the future.... =) So yeah, this is for today, not sure about tomorrow though lol.
Note: Ouch, it seems a little harder to read my post like this than I thought. Damn, wish I could make the bullet point look a bit bigger.... =/
+Woke up at 8 a.m. after I slept at 2 a.m. when I was online the whole night doing "something".....
+ Bathe, getting ready and have breakfast all before 9 a.m.
+ Called up friend at 9 a.m. and ask whether he was at school or not. He replied saying he just woke up from bed, and went back to sleep...
+ Played my PS2/PSP until it was 10.30 a.m. while waiting for my friends to arrive.
+ Went to school together to send back the form 5 books we "borrowed" for this year. In return we got our certificate and that was about it. Was good to meet some of our classmates and teachers there after what was like such a long and exhaustive SPM examination...
+ After that, I went back home to keep my certificate in my folder, and changed my slippers for some Converse shoes... =P
+ Met at "padang asam" and talked for a bit before heading to SS15
+ We stopped to eat rojak and have some drinks while it was about 12 p.m.
+ Gerak to JS Internet Cafe and enjoyed playing some games. Most notable events were
*Played Counter Strike and had an awful time keeping up (lol, I had the most death in the game) Also managed to knife one of my "pro" friends while we were playing.... =D
*Then we moved on to play FIFA09, and made a big fuss about the game. We were shouting left right and center as if we were in a real game or as my friend put in another way, "like playing WCG" lol. The results were pretty bad I could say (out of all the 3 games we played, my team lost all 3 games. The last game gave quite a good fight, if only he hadn't scored that own goal...... =.=' ) but yeah, we had quite a good fun.
+ After we played for about 3 hours (from about 12 something to 3) we paid for the hours we played and walked to Subang Parade to have lunch
+ Ate at KFC (yum) and one of my friends had a call about going to Sunway Pyramid but after we ate, they had a changed of plans... (too bad though, my friend wanted to put some new games on his PSP. All that effort to go Subang Parade was for nothing... lmao) Also met some of our friends who were working there...
+ Walked back to SS15, and went to Asia Cafe to have some drinks and chit chat a little (again) While we were there we kinda met some other friends there also...
+ Then we headed to another cyber cafe, this time we went to FTZ for a few hours
+ While most of them (well, all except me) played FIFA09 again, I was minding my own business and played Call Of Duty and Outrun 2006.
+ Later, they joined and played Outrun as well. But somehow I was left out from playing together (there were 7 of us, but the game can only host 6 players =S ) so they played without me, saying that I was "too pro" to play against lol.
*The first race I didn't interfere any of them, cause I was too busy playing mine...
*The second race however, I stopped playing while they were halfway through the map and watch them duke em out. Them when it was about 80% through the map, I helped my friend get first and win the game. Hahahahahaha..... =D
+ When everything was over, paid everything and left our separate ways. Gave a handshake or two and started walking home.
+ Arrived home at about 7 something p.m. and take a bath. Dress up and here I am..... =P

Its over......
Finally finished SPM today, and now I get to start a new life after school......
Well other than that maybe I need to get a part time job or just loaf around with friends and whatnot. Man, I don't even care how many exams I failed cause I just couldn't give a f*** lol. All I want to do now is just get my drivers license and a car, and I could pretty much live happily ever after........ xD

Phantom on the Horizon
Its been a while since I've heard a good song from TFOT. I know it has been a year since the release of "Manipulator" but this was really something worth listening to. A rerecorded version of their Ghostship EP, it really amazes me how good their song was compared to Manipulator. Listened to the first few minutes on the first song and it almost reminds me of Doppelgänger, it was bloody awesome! Just give a listen to the EP somewhere (maybe Youtube or Imeem) or if your like me, try to find the song somewhere and download them. If the album ever comes out to Malaysia, its probably worth the RM40+ price tag........ hahahaha.
Whatever....
Finished 8 out of the 9 exams taken for SPM, with accounts out of the way now its time to concentrate on economics. Yeah, after that I couldn't care less as to what happens to me in my life. Will I become a successful person? Would I end up as a beggar on the street? Who knows, it is one of the many surprises in life that we cannot predict......
This song is gay....
Metro Station - Shake It
Hehe, yeah but I like this song! xD
(and for some reason I can't embed the video here.....)
Well other than that, I'm currenly studying accounts and economics for my final 2 exams later on Monday and Tuesday. After that and I could enjoy more and start finding a job somewhere.....

The Fashion
Well during the whole 2 days I played Need For Speed: Undercover, I kept noticing this song every time it appears. The song was really catch and thought I give it a listen to. To my surprised it doesn't sound half bad, and thought I would listen to their other songs on youtube. Wow, another bad discovered in a video game! Thanks EA lol.
In the words from "The Fashion":
Hailing from the underground music scene of Svendborg, Denmark and now calling Copenhagen home, The Fashion have drawn comparisons to fellow countrymen The Raveonettes and Junior Senior, as well as international superstar acts The Hives and Franz Ferdinand. Critics suggest the band evokes memories of revolutionary artists ranging from The Ramones to The Beastie Boys.
Here are the songs that I can recommend you could listen to:
The Fashion - Like Knives
The Fashion - Solo Impala (Take The Money And Run)
Quantum of Solace
Just watched the movie with my parents at Cathay Cineplexes at Damansara a few hours ago. All I got to say is the movie was really awesome. Not "Dark Knight" awesome, but it is very close. Although I haven't really followed the plot as much (who the hell is Vesper?) and that I wasn't really expected to watch the movie today (my brother bought me and my parents a Platinum Movie Suite for us, which was nice of him as he did treat all of us for dinner prior to that.....) So anyway, I think Daniel Craig performed quite well as James Bond in the movie, but I'm just not sure if either he or Pierce Brosnan was the better James Bond. Also, I think some of the action scene was left to be desired. There were one or two scenes that had some bad special effects, or some dialogues gone wrong although I think they were just minor mistakes than anything......
As for the "Bond Girl", Olga Kurylenko was quite okay in the movie, although I do feel her role feels a little left out compared to the other bond girls, but it does make it seem more interesting that the average bond girl. But damn, I feel really ripped of knowing the movie only lasted about 1 hour 45 minutes, compared to some of the other movies that are usually 2 hours plus! But it must have a lot of scenes cut from the movie...... What was worse was that some of the foreign dialogues had no English subtitles! I mean what the fuck man, I can't believe they left that out, and yet the could translate those dialogues into Malay and Chinese....
Meh, whatever. Its getting late and I need some sleep. Will post more stuff later......
Continuing from the post:
Well after a good night sleep and giving a few more suggestions for the review, now I'll try to make out a review the plot for some of the scene. The first one has got to be the car chase scene between the Aston Martin and the Alfa Romeo. That scene itself was quite nicely done and all, but I can't help wonder that one scene where the police van got shot off the road and fell over the cliff, with James Bond being chased by the guys in the Alfa, suddenly that same van crash in front of him. At that point it clearly reminded my of that scene in Tokyo Drift where the guy in the 350Z fell of cliff and the exact same thing happened. Yeah, not what I call "original" though...... =P Also after the end of that chase, James Bond open the boot of his car to find a guy sitting inside there being tied up...... Got a good laugh out of that, I wonder how did he even manage to stay alive in that boot after all that action......
The next thing I want to get to is the boat chase scene, maybe it does look a bit better than some of the other scene and has got to be one of the better scenes that I enjoyed watching. Maybe the only thing bugging me was how did the villain's boat got onto James Bond's boat and he used only a rope and made the boat flipped. Not sure about that one, looks really suspiciously done. Then there is also the part where James Bond meet Dominic Greene for the second time, and where James Bond took Camille and left Fields there with Greene. I mean I swear they had to cut at least 15 minutes from that frame, as suddenly James Bond got pulled over by the cops and open the boot of his car to find René Mathis unconscious at the back of the car. What later made appalling was when the MI6 Agent found Strawberry Fields inside his hotel room died after being drowned in oil. What the hell happened to them!?
The dogfight at the desert also was a bit of a meh from me, I don't really particularly like that part of a reason or two. Firstly after what was looks like to be a conversation between Bond and Camille, there happened to be a fighter pilot trying to gun them down in an old aircraft. It was so sudden and kinda unexpected, but nevertheless I just followed the story. The battle between a Douglas DC-3 propeller plane and aAermacchi SF-260 fighter (with the Bell UH-1 helicopter making an appearance later) was really a no brainer there. I mean even if James Bond manage to fend of the attack, it was highly unlikely he would have survived in that old airplane. Also being mentioned several times was also the parachute scene where they pull the chute just what look liked to be a few feet before they hit the ground. Although it could be done, but I think you could only come out second best.......
Anyways, maybe thats about it from me. I'm sure the soundtrack and the similarities with this movie and The Bourne Ultimatum has been mentioned a lot......
Vocaloid.......
Looking for this software after I've seen a few clips of the songs being made on Youtube. For all who don't know what Vocaloid is, "its a singing synthesizer application software developed by the Yamaha Corporation that enables users to synthesize singing by just typing in lyrics and melody."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vocaloid
So does anyone know where can I buy this software in Malaysia? I don't really trust the torrents since the filesize looks so small compared to the actual product. Most of them don't even have the Miku Hatsune version....... =(
As for my exams, just finished 7 out of the 9 exams taken and now have a 1 week break before the final 2 papers, then its FREEDOM!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow is the big day......
Yeah, tomorrow will be the start of Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia, and I would just like to say good luck to everyone taking SPM this year.....
Sungha Jung
A friend just gave me a link to one of his songs and I was blown away with his fingerpicking skills. He is only 12 year old this past September, and yet he plays pretty much as good as any other acoustic artists out there. He does have a lot of potential to become an even greater musician when he gets exposed to more people......
You can check out one of the many songs he covers as well as a few of his own songs on Youtube or his Myspace page:

SMKSJ Graduation Day 2008
Oh wow....... I don't even know where to start with this one. Fist of all, I only wanted to go to school today just to get my certificates and only that. Everything seems to went fine, but everything else is left said to be a little..... disappointing. The speech was "okay" was that I could actually bare listening to them and the performance was absolutely rubbish. The food was also terrible (it was Nasi ayam, or chicken rice in English) but I was thankful for it cause I didn't eat breakfast at that time. Wish they had something else that would make graduation day more fun like other schools......... *sigh*
Now that every school activity is finished, now we all can concentrate on the biggest exams of our life, the very exam that could determine our future as a success or failure. Whatever it is, it is very important for everyone except me. Getting all A's in the SPM isn't going to make you 1 second faster around Sepang....... LMAO. =P

Chatmonchy (band)
Following yesterdays post, this is something that I found while I was looking up on something at Wikipedia. Even with an all girl band and a quirky name, the song did actually catch on pretty easily and before you know it, their songs become very very addictive. =S So like yeah, song wise it isn't that bad if your into J-pop/J-rock kind of stuff but it isn't for everyone. But at least its better than Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re..... (heck, I don't even know what their song is......)
Just give them a listen and tell me how you guys like/hate them. There was this one song that I got addicted to which was Hana no Yume, its quite catchy and nice to listen to. =D
Chatmonchy - Hana no Yume
Chatmonchy - Shangri-la
Toe (band)
I just heard about this band a few days ago on my friends Myspace page, and as I was looking for several Japanese bands to add to my music collection. (will explain more on that later) I didn't expect their songs to be that good, but after listening to a few of their songs I really started to like their songs. They are mostly a post-rock and instrumental band, but the genre seems to go out more than that. You will see what I mean when you listen to the on Myspace......

The song that is currently stuck in my head are Path and グッドバイ

SPM is coming.....
Yeah, its times like this that makes nearly everyone worried. But not for me, nope! I don't give a flying s*** about the so called "most important exam ever" because I know SPM doesn't make me become a professional racing driver. =P Then again, I feel sorry for my friends and the other people who keep studying for their own good, oh how I wish I could be like them........
A day worth of shopping.....
Started out with just a plan with me and my friends, this turns out to be one of the most exciting and tiring thing I've done this whole Ramadhan! Spend almost the entire day shopping with my friends, and my friends bought all sorts of things such as clothes. Then we break our fast at a restaurant called Chicken Hut, where they serve primarily chicken and some other stuff in a buffet style. There were like 14 of us eating there and there were more people that came after is. The food was nice, although it wasn't really as good as some other places.
After we all finished eating we started to walk around some more to find my friends shirt. During the entire day, we did meet some of our other friends there and had a few chuckles and gags here and there, it was really cool to hang with friends the entire day. So like yeah, everyone had a good time and most of them did manage to buy what they wanted (except me, I didn't really have the money to buy anything. Blew all my money on a memory stick.) and we all did really have a good time. A great way to end what was almost a stressful month of exams at school, and the start of what could be a very enjoyable, but short holiday.....
=D
I give up.....
To tell you the truth, (if anyone is really reading this that is) for the sake of anything, can't fucking update my blog as promised. I mean I always thought it would be quite simple to update my blog, post some shit, etc. but quite frankly its not. I hate updating this blog and can't do shit here. So just to summarize, I may not log on to this blog for weeks or months until I found my mood to post something......
So yeah, doing something else seems more important then this.....
Oh, and if anyone's interested:

The PIKOM PC Fair 2008
Well to be honest, it was really nothing. Lol, not really but as expected there was a lot of people who went there today even if it was the last day of the event. So liked me and my friend arrived at KLCC at around 3p.m. and walked to the KL convention center which is just a few meters away from KLCC. Anyhow, as there was many people and was short on time we didn't exactly have time to see everything. Rather than waiting we just walk through some of the booths and only stopped at the booths that we were interested in. There was surprisingly a lot of booths there, pretty much most of the PC brands were there.
So anyways, the only thing we ended up buying was a headphone from Sensonic and my friend bought a Kingston 2GB thumbdrive and some cheap mouse for his Laptop. But yeah, it was pretty much disappointed at the event, not because it was boring or anything but there was just TOO MANY people there and the fact both of us were out of budget (we only had like RM100+) Yeah, it sucks not to work and have little money. I was going to buy an 8GB Memory Stick there, but the price was just too expensive (something like RM200+) and when I found the cheap one (which was RM120) I just didn't have the guts to buy it, thinking it was fake or easily get spoiled.
Anyways, nothing really much there like I said earlier. The long walk around was really tiring and really am exhausted from just walking around looking. No photos from the event and no long review because it is just not worth it.....

Just a reminder.....
I know I haven't really promised to update the blog as often as I would, but feel really kinda disappointed that not many people actually bother to comment on anything. Sure I haven't really had anything good to say around here or that many people know my blog (but I know a few of them DO visit my blog) and well, for those who actually bother to visit my blog, I am very thankful. Even though if its like this, I'll still update my blog if people want me to, but I'll probably post a little less than usual (probably like once a month or so) and also agreed to make some reviews for my blog thanks to my friends suggestion.
So like yeah, just come here often and see what I have to say about myself.....
Oh, and I will try and change the layout for this forum. I think the color right now is just awful....

Batman:The Dark Knight review
Well, just yesterday (after what would exactly be an interesting day) me and my friend decided to watch the movie at Summit at 3 o'clock. We have talked about watching this since last week, but somehow it ended up with only 2 of us going. But wow, it was almost as if it was my lucky day at that moment. Not only did we manage to catch the 3 o'clock show with THX (my friend had already booked the seats for 6 people, but we turned up late, so the booking was forfeited. Not really a problem though, but we got THX!!!!) but I finally knew about the student discount and showed my student card, and to my surprise, the ticket cost half as much as what I would usually pay! At RM6 per person, it was definitely a steal for us. Could have been the usual price of RM10 for adults, but its better to know things late than never......
So after playing at the arcade for awhile, we showed our tickets and enter to buy some popcorn and drinks, and went straight into the cinema. Looking for our seats, we definitely had one of the best seats in the house. To my surprise, a lot of people did turn up to watch the movie, but again we were fortunate to get it. If not, we could have ended watching something else (maybe Hellboy 2 or Hancock)
So anyways, to the review:
As for the starting of the movie, I think I was a little surprised with how they started the movie with a back robberies with the thieves wearing clown masks reminiscent of The Joker (which he introduced himself a few minutes later) That part was a little skeptical as the robbery was really different than your ordinary robbery (like where one part the thief told the hostage to "put your hands down" and I just laughed inside....) and the way they planned it all with killing themselves was, in all, a very manipulative plan of The Joker.
The following chain of events was quite "on cue" with how the storyline should be, with Bruce Wayne/Batman settling the crime and how Harvey Dent got involved and stuff. Anyways, I think I don't really know what to say after this and I am a little tired even after yesterday, so I get back on "this part" of a review in a later date.....
As for the cast, it was an amazing performance by Christian Bale and especially Heath Ledger. I think they almost blew away the audience with their performance. Ledger did great as The Joker, almost as good (if not better) than the original Joker, Jack Nicholson. But its sad that he would not act again because of his accidental death. Surely he could get an award for that awe-inspiring performance..... As for the other casts, they did a good job as well on the film, even though they don't have as much effect on the plot as Bale and Ledger. To be honest, I haven't watched Batman Begins and the last Batman movie I watched was Batman & Robin (god knows how terrible that movie was.....) All in all, its definitely a great movie to watch for 2 and a half hours (yes, it was also very long. My legs cramped when I got out of my seat to walk off.....) and even if your a fan of batman or not, you should have kicked yourself if you had never watched this movie. Note as well that this is one of Ledgers last movie, so it pays as a tribute to watch the movie and see what a character he really was.....
Overall, as me and my friend has already decided, this movie gets an 8.5 out of 10 in rating. A great movie to watch with a great plot, storyline, action, drama and suspense that will not disappoint. The casts performance is also worth a mentioned but somehow has something lacking that doesn't make it stand out of the rest......
So thats the part of the review, be sure to come back here often and check the continuing part of my review. Also, I'm having real fun with my PSP and I'll try to get the PSP review in by this week...... =)

Bought myself one of these.....
Just bought myself a PSP a few hours ago, and its quite cool to actually own one. Basically bought it with a value pack, so I did get a few extras. Haven't played it much yet, but the control does feel like how my PS2 was and that it doesn't feel as heavy! Maybe gonna do a review in a few days time. :D

Viva la Vida
or Death and All His Friends. Coldplay will be releasing their new album in the UK on the 12th of June. I've just listened to their new single, "Viva la Vida" and their new song is just as good as their last work. (or even better) I hope that when they released their new album here, my brother is so totally gonna buy it (he's a big Coldplay fan like me) and maybe I'll get to listen to the entire album. The cover artwork is from a well known painter named Eugène Delacroix called "La Liberté guidant le peuple" (Liberty Leading the People in English) and the cover just looks splendid. Well for now, you can just listen to a preview of their song, Viva la Vida.
First time making a blog.....
Well this is the first blog that I have ever made, so clearly there isn't much around here. I also don't know much on what to do with my blog, but its more going to be my personal blog more than anything. So anyways, hope to update the blog often with any topics to discuss and make some new friends..... =D
