My Benchwork
Well this is what I've been working on over the past 2 weeks at TOC:
Not exactly as good as what my other classmates have done, but I guess it is the effort that counts. I did just enough to get this done, don't think I could make any more effort on making it look better. Maybe I could, but you know me.....
Haha, that aside I'm just glad that I finally got a one week break from college starting from today. Now I could probably enjoy myself a little more and take a breather. Tomorrow I will be going to Penang again with my parents, so I'll probably won't be going online or do my usual activities as such. Who knows really, if I'm lucky the hotel that I'm staying has a computer room I could go online for a while and just surf around and probably go online on MSN or something. Not sure what I will be doing there, maybe like the usual like shopping, eating and go around town like that. Don't know what events are being held over at Penang right now (heard there are several things being held over there this weekend on the radio) but if there is really nothing there...... oh why the hell would I care anyways?
Thats about it from me I guess, will try to post some pictures when I get back. =P

Tough Luck Man Utd...
The photo says it all, what a wasted effort by Manchester United. Did so much just to get into the UEFA Champions League finals only to lose to Barcelona 2-0. I mean, what the hell happened!? They have the best players out there with probably one of the best line ups (compared to Barca) and just needed to play like they usually do. If only things were that simple...
Well I don't really know what went wrong for them but I just feel sorry for them. Maybe its because they weren't wearing their usual "red devils" home jersey, or probably because they have so many games to play (think it was about 66 fixtures including this) compared to Barca or maybe because of sheer bad lack. Whatever it is, a lost is a lost and nothing could cover up the sad truth. Not to say they were really bad or anything, Man Utd were the ones who went all "gung ho" in the first 10 minutes into the game and were pretty much on top of the game. Then suddenly a counter attack by Barca caught them off guard and even capitalize on Man Utd's weak defence and scored the first goal. For a team that is to be said "the best in England" were just not playing like it is! Ferdinand, Vidic, best defender of this year? Yeah right, think they are just way over rated by the way they played yesterday.
Don't think I have to say much other than that, the rest is self explanatory. I'm sorry for all the Man Utd fans out there having the dream of a treble (or even the elusive quadruple) slipped from their reach but things happened you know. As for fans of Barca I think this would definitely be a moment to celebrate as they manage to do what Man Utd did almost 10 years back and won the treble, (a first for a Spanish club at that!) as well as doing that all with Josep Guardiola, who made a big impact for Barcelona that no other manager has before this.
Yeah yeah, that is all people. Now I've got other things to write about. d=_=b

Crimson Hardcore
Yes! I finally got this album after hearing about it about a week ago or so. It almost feels so long ago since Hardcore Tano*C released their album "Hardcore Syndrome 2" back in December 2008. Guess that is how you feel when your totally addicted to something huh? Could say that this is more addictive than drugs, cigarettes or alcohol that ever existed on earth, hahahahahaha....
Well after hearing the entire album I do have to say, although it wasn't the best Hardcore Tano*C album I've heard out of all the other albums that I have (which is all of them!) but none the less it was a good effort by REDALiCE to try and release the album. Although I haven't listened to his other works that was released on ALiCE'S EMOTiON just yet, he did have a few good songs which he released on Hardcore Tano*C under the alias 赤いひと (Akai Hito) which were "Presonus", "Gabba Tano*C" and "Psychedelic Syndrome". All of which were included in this album.
The album consists of some of his old songs from the previous Tano*C albums as well as several new songs and remixes done by him and the Tano*C crew. His new songs aren't exactly something to remember, but the remixes almost blew me away. Funny thing is, the remixes done by the other members of the circle were way better than his remixes or even his original songs lol! After hearing people talking about how awesome Betwixt & Between's remix of Warp Attacker I just had to give it a listen to and it just blew my mind away..... But the only remix that I was looking forward to was kenta-v.ez.'s remix of Gabba Tano*C, which didn't disappoint me at all. Maybe some people will hate me for saying this but that track was probably one of the best songs in the album. There were also several remixes of REDALiCE's other tracks done by Thanatos, 源屋 (Minamoto) and USAO which were quite good as well.
As for the other tracks, meh just forget about it. Its as good as what REDALiCE could produce, so no complaints from me here. If you are interested here is a preview of his album that was uploaded a couple of weeks ago. (sorry if I didn't post it here, totally forgotten about it)

Button wins yet again in Monaco...
Isn't it getting boring that Button won 5 out of 6 races so far this year? As some might have said he is being like Michael Schumacher and stuff, but who cares anyhow. If Michael did dominate all the races when he was still in F1 a few years ago doesn't mean Button cannot do the same can he? Other than the Brawn 1-2 yet again this year, it is quite good that Ferrari has finally got their act together and start being back at the front again after a dismal start to the year...
Likewise it was probably a weekend for to forget for McLaren, as well as a disappointing race for Toyota and BMW as they were the ones who struggled throughout the weekend and being outpaced by the lesser teams such as Toro Rosso and Force India. Don't think I have to say much about the race, the entire race has probably been about Brawn vs. Ferrari battling it out at the front, when it looked like the Ferrari has an advantage over the Brawn as they were caught struggling with the super soft tires. But somehow Ferrari was just wasn't as good as the Brawn GP near the end. Another interesting note was also that Force India could've gotten their first championship point if any of the top 8 would slip up near the end. A good performance by Fisichella for the Force India team finishing in 9th, hope to see them improve a lot in the next few races. It wouldn't take them long to start scoring in the points more regularly....
Onto the next race which at Istanbul, it will be interesting how all the teams are gonna perform there. Like Barcelona before this, Istanbul is a circuit which requires good downforce as well as good mechanical grip so teams like McLaren and BMW may struggle here just as much as they did in Barcelona. It is also a track which would benefit from KERS, so Ferrari are looking good at having a crack at winning here and probably bring the fight to Brawn GP if things looks as good as it is now.

I don't know, just felt like posting this. Ever since I've heard this song I was totally addicted to it, and trying to restrain myself for listening to this song too often...

Work Euroline DH knock-off
Well me and my family were just eating at Swenson's at Subang Parade about a while ago and I just can't help but noticed the rims that were on the car. At first I thought it was a genuine Work Euroline DH but upon closer inspection it was some cheap knock off wheels that looks similar to the Euroline.
After looking at the wheel I found out the brand was called EXE Pegasus. Not sure where the company is located or how the hell did they manage to copy the wheels but it was sure that it is this sort of things kinda ruined the whole aftermarket import parts that so many companies tried to build up, only to have things like this happen. I don't know what to say, it is a subjective matter than has been discussed many times but in the end does it all really matter? Either you save up a lot of money to buy the "real deal" or settle for a cheap knock off if you can't afford it.
Same thing has been going through my mind as well when I finally get my car. Should I be faithful to the tuning industry and help them buy their original, quality parts or settle with something cheap that has little to no quality and also the fact that you know that it is a fake. Oh well, I guess there are things that can't be ignored but if I had the decision I would definitely save the money and buy the Euroline DH. Wouldn't matter how much it costs, the fact that it is one drop dead gorgeous set of wheels (especially when done proper with a good offset) could make an almost mundane car look spectacular...
Oh yeah, there was another topic that I read yesterday that was discussing about knock-offs as well so go take a look for yourself:

WTCC Chaos in Pao
Ouch, that must have hurt. Don't think I'd cover the WTCC (World Touring Car Championship for those who don't know) much myself (just read the race reviews online, and only sometimes catch the race on TV) but this has got to be one of the things that must be posted here. Simply because its like nothing else that I have ever seen in a WTCC race! I mean, this is not supposed to be some sort of destruction derby match or anything but somehow it ends up looking like one. Although they are racing at a narrow street circuit it shouldn't be as bad as this one, especially the part where Franz Engstler crashed into the safety car on the 2nd lap. I mean what the hell? The safety car driver must be some kind of retard to make such a highly stupid mistake, just driving to the side of the road when there were people still racing on the track.
I don't know how to explain much about the situation (I didn't watch the entire race, just read it online) but not sure if it was the safety marshals fault or the FIA, but whatever the reason this is going to be one hot discussion going on. Max Factory Figma: Hatsune Miku
Well finally found some time to actually post this, was getting a little worried that I haven't replied to my other post yesterday as promised. Oh well here is my review for it anyway. For people who are new to these figures, Figma is like a sort of "action figures" that is made by company Max Factory. (also which is under the Good Smile Company) Got to say I'm really happy I finally got this since I was searching this almost everywhere for months without finding any! There were other figma which are better and cheaper than this one, but I just got to have this one!
First I apologize if the photo is a little bit blurry and just poor quality. I'm just using an outdated 4mp digital camera that just a piece of s***. Remind me to get a proper digital camera in the future.... Okay now, to start off the review here are just some photos of the box casing for no apparent reason lol. As you can see, everything is written in Japanese (because the company is based in Japan) and well, it was imported from Japan so its probably a no brainer there.
Here is how it looks when I took it out of the box.

and here is how everything looks like when I took it out of the plastic case.
The figma set comes standard with the figure itself (duh!), the figma stand, an alternate face (which can be exchanged with any other figma IIRC), the hands as well as the special figma plastic bag. This particular on has an extra accessories such as the microphone and microphone stand, a leek and another extra leek. (you will find out later why there is an extra)
Tried playing with it for a little while before this and got to say the figure was really good. Like most other action figures the joints can be made to shape and pose in many different ways. However the figma is probable the one which can be made to pose in precise detail! (well, to me anyways) The head, arms, hands, legs, thighs, and feet can be made to post in a certain position but the only thing it was lacking that I found out later was that I can't make Miku sit! Apparently the legs can only be bent after a certain degrees and after that just cannot be made to bent any further. Also the fact is I was really scared if I break poor Miku after I bought so much for it, meh I guess my feelings got the better of me. =(
Well as for the figure itself I think like many other reviewers already before me I think the sculpture is pretty much spot on as how Hatsune Miku would look like if she was in real life. The way they kept some of the joints hidden (especially the face) is pretty remarkable considering that its pretty small. (about 15cm) Sad thing I found out was her hair was pretty much looks like plastic. I mean seriously, I know its made out of plastic and all but they could have at least put more effort on the hair you know. Also because of how the characters hair was designed it was also a little bit difficult on finding the balance of the figure and also trying to make some post to work with such hair as that.
So I don't think I need to get into any more details about the figure, as I'm sure there are hundreds of reviews out there on this very figure in both written and video reviews. If you want to know more about the figure or want an in-depth review just try searching for them on Google. =)
To end my post here I will just post some of the pictures that I took when I was playing around with it. XD
So does that mean this is the start of my figure collecting days? As far as I'm concerned I really hope this doesn't make me become an otaku addict and start collecting figures just for the sake of collecting it. My First Figma....
After waiting for months since I lasted promised myself to get the figma I was finally able to put up enough money to buy it today! Bought it at the Time Machine for RM140. I know it costs a lot more than some other shops but I really wanted to buy it so badly. Oh well, I'm glad that I finally got it now, doesn't matter how much or what the condition is I just want my Miku Hatsune! As you might have notice, I'm a huge Miku Hatsune fan and probably going as far as to buy the Figma shows how much I love her. =3
I haven't opened it yet and would try to make a short review + photoshoot of the figma tomorrow as well as my plan on doing something with it, hehehehe.....

108 Sketches
Ah yeah, finally got the time to write up about this album. Didn't really talked much about the musics that I have been listening to and think my taste in music has totally changed in the past few years. I do still love the emo/screamo bands out there as much as my love for anything J-Core or whatever you want to call it. My J-Core collection is currently stands at about 1000+ or so songs, so that must be an achievement in itself!
Well about the 108 Sketches album, it is actually 2 different artists (t+pazolite & RoughSketch) with 2 totally different style combining together their effort and made something totally different than anything they would ever made on their own record label. Like one person has said, "Cutie and headshaking sounds met a redneck and decided they would make music together. This is the result." Yeah, totally stole the words right out of my mouth....
All the tracks are mostly done by either t+pazolite and/or RoughSketch, and almost instantly you could recognize the difference in style between their songs. t+paz has always been known to make happy hardcore tracks on his C.H.S label but also has proven he could do hardcore tracks on Hardcore Tano*C as well, and RoughSketch is just plain simple hardcore. One of the best tracks on the album I've heard so far is "t+pazolite vs RoughSketch - Bloody Serenade" and I got to say it was just awesome. Maybe not to everyone but it was quite a good track I would say. You can try to listen to the song below:

Just kidding, it doesn't really matter what he does to his songs I think I do like them however it was made. So yeah, don't think this is much of a review or anything, just thought I would talk a little about this album and kinda spread the word. Hopefully when the Crimson Hardcore album does get released I will get to write about that album as well. REDALiCE is nothing short of amazing and is the mastermind behind the Hardcore Tano*C circle and would be great to hear all the effort he put into his songs as well as remixes of his well known songs on HT*C.

Manchester United are the champions!
Wooooooooooo!!!!!!!After almost a hard-fought season Manchester United managed to clinched the EPL for the 11th time with Sir Alex Ferguson and the 18th time for Manchester United (which equals the record for most number of EPL titles with Liverpool) after they draw with Arsenal at Old Trafford at 0-0. Although the match was nothing special, it was just enough for Man U to keep ahead of Liverpool with one game remaining.
So with that said, it is really a special moment for the fans of Man Utd to witness again history being made right in front of our eyes. Sure Man Utd was knocked out by Everton in the F.A. cup semi-finals but did get through into the finals of the UEFA Champions League against Barcelona in Rome, Italy. That is really something to look forward to in the next few days, and will probably another historical moment for Man Utd.

So with that said, it is really a special moment for the fans of Man Utd to witness again history being made right in front of our eyes. Sure Man Utd was knocked out by Everton in the F.A. cup semi-finals but did get through into the finals of the UEFA Champions League against Barcelona in Rome, Italy. That is really something to look forward to in the next few days, and will probably another historical moment for Man Utd.

Haha, cause I got nothing better to post. But to be really really honest, it might be true so who knows. Just read on if you think it interests you....
"Why that girl go to that guy? If she date with me, her life would be better... He (that guy) only wants her body... not her love... If she be with me, I will really take care of her...."
I guess, deep in my heart, my friend didnt know the answer and he didnt manage to get any girl until the day he died, and I also regret that I cant help him about that...
So, what I wanna share here is the article that I guess the answer for his question and I really hope I can give this article as an advice for him and for all those DCM friends that might experience the same problem.....

Are you a nice guy who has always wondered why the cocky guy -- the one who barely appears interested in the girl -- is usually the one who gets the girl?
Have you suffered from hearing the words, "You're a really nice guy, but I only like you as a friend," from a woman who you would do (or may, in fact, have already done) just about anything and everything for -- only to turn around and watch her date (or even chase) a guy who treats her like she's nothing special? And are you stumped wondering why she would date a guy who treats her like that when she could have you who would treat her like a princess and give her everything she wants? Well, you better brace yourself because I'm going to tell you a couple of secrets that you might not want to hear.
First, "nice" equates with boring and predictable. Look up "nice" in the dictionary and you find: pleasant; agreeable; satisfactory. In other words, average -- not exceptional, not exciting, and not sexy.I'll bet you've never heard a woman say she didn't want to date a guy because he was too confident, too passionate, or too exciting -- have you? But, I'll bet you have heard women say things like, "He's such a nice guy. He's so sweet and he's always there for me, but I only like him as a friend." Or, "He's such a good guy -- kind, thoughtful, generous, honest, loyal -- but there's no chemistry. He just doesn't turn me on." Sadly, I hear it all the time. The fact is, Mr. Nice Guy, you cannot bore a woman into feeling attracted to you or into wanting to date you. And as obvious as that sounds, if you are one of those guys I described that is exactly what you are trying to do. And it won't work.
Please understand that I am not suggesting that you mistreat women or disrespect them in any way. What I suggesting is that you value and respect yourself more.
To illustrate what I mean: The answer to the question, "Why does the guy who doesn't appear to care as much about the girl get the girl?" is simple: The nice guy cares too much, too soon. He has made the woman too important and too valuable and it shows in everything he says and does. He is too available, too eager to please, too accommodating, and he gives too much -- all without getting anything in return. By doing so, he has made himself appear desperate, insecure, needy of this woman's attention, affection, and approval -- and he has stripped himself of any value in her eyes. After all, if he's already doing and giving everything, without her doing or giving anything - why would she value him? She won't. She is not going to value him any more than he values himself. What she is going to do is look for someone else, someone who she perceives as being more worthy, more confident, and more valuable.
It works like this:

Well I guess once you start winning you just can't stop there now don't it? Jenson Button once again proved that he is capable of being the best given the right team, car as well as having lady luck on his side. Once again, it was Brawn GP who got the better of Red Bull to claim the 1-2 again this year, while Red Bull managed to finish in 3rd and 4th respectively. Although I do not have the time to comment much on the race, it was pretty amazing how close the field is running than even the last race! Most of the teams pulling out the major updates on their car for what is described as the "first" European race of the season which also marks the European leg of the season with the 4 flyaway races completed.
Even if I missed the first 10 laps of the race (yeah, I was at Sunway haning out with some friends but still manage to get back home to watch F1) the entire race was pretty exciting throughout the race with some drama at the end for Massa. Not to say it was that exciting to be honest but at least the race isn't as dull as it usually was last year. Well for people who aren't keeping up with the news (or who missed this anyhow) this is definitely something interesting. I know the news has been around for quite a few days, but it doesn't hurt to share the news right? Yeah yeah, in before the overly abused phrase "as old as the internet", "old news is old", "tree'd" or whatever 1337speek or nonsense that is from 4chan. Speaking for 4chan you might me wondering what this has to do with with the picture or the title right?
Well apparently (and no, this is not a joke or anything) the guy in the picture, came in first in TIME 100 "Most Influential Person of 2009" online poll. For those who don't know who that guy is, he is no other than the owner of 4chan, moot! Yeah, not sure what his real name is, but Wikipedia stated that his real name is "Christopher Poole" or whatever it is...
Okay, enough about that for now. The real news is that he didn't won the online poll fair and square it seems. The TIME.com server was hacked by hackers from 4chan and made an autovote script that would vote for moot to make sure he wins the poll. On top of that, there was even another script that would vote the other people on the list in an arrangement that would spell "marblecake also the game". All in all it was really unbelievable how the whole thing actually started, just because they did it "for the lulz" But after they found out about the hack, TIME did what was right and made the poll null and void and so that is how the TIME 100 list looks as it is now.
Well I really don't know how to explain the entire situation to be honest, so just give yourself a few minutes of your time and read this. I'm sure your time wouldn't go to waste and is really interesting what the guys over at 4chan did just to make this possible....

Stuck In Traffic
Hehe, just a picture of me sitting in my father's car while waiting in traffic. For those who never seen my face before, here it is I guess. Not what your expecting right? Well anyway, just couldn't believe how long I was stuck in traffic for. I left TOC at around 6pm and arrived home at 7.30pm. WTF!!!!? Never mind that, my father said it sometimes do usually happen around that area and he expects me to see more of this in the coming months.
Well apart for that I really don't have much to say about myself lol. If you want to know about my college life, then you will probably will be bored listening to my stories. Well studying the basics of automotive technology for 2 weeks as well as the theory and practical exam just last week it was pretty okay I guess. Didn't expect to do that well in the exams but so did several of my other friends as well lol. This week my class just started learning about the engine, what type of engine, the combustion process, the parts found in the engine and etc. If I go on about that too much I will probably kill myself right now, hahahahaha.....
Well apart for that I really don't have much to say about myself lol. If you want to know about my college life, then you will probably will be bored listening to my stories. Drifting!!!
Well apart from drifting in rFactor, I did some photoshop as well as doing some other stuff. Not much else apart from that to say, was thinking of writing some reviews on some albums I downloaded a few days ago before I completely lost my mood to post that here. Oh well...
Still am working on the Dunlop Art Car, as well as planning to do some livery for my drift car in rFactor so I might get my hands full doing things now. Now I got that add up to the list of things I need to do other than college, studying, downloading albums, as well as other things that will come up one way or another. Also in an unrelated news, my good buddy Najib is coming back from national service for a week and have some plans to hang out with him again.
